Number 1: BRP ALCARAZ
PHILIPPINE NAVY : From 1968 to 2012, it was known as USCGC Dallas (WHEC-716) and served the US Coast Guard as a high endurance cutter. Ramon Alcaraz employs the shipboard application of aircraft gas turbine jet engines with the use of controllable pitch propellers. She is equipped with two 18,000 horsepower gas turbines and can propel the ship at speeds up to 28 knots (52 km/h)Number 10: French Navy Vessel
PHILIPPINE COAST GUARD: The "La Tapageuse” P400 patrol ships are small vessels of the French Navy. They were designed to accomplish police operations in the French Exclusive Economic Zone. The P400 were originally designed in two versions: one armed with Exocet MM38 missiles, and another public service version with a smaller 16-man complement.
The Philippine government is also finalizing discussions with the French government for other purchases; the four brand-new 24-meter and one 82-m multipurpose vessels, which are all expected to arrive in the Philippines in 2015.
NUMBER 9: Israeli ATMOS 2000 155mm Self-Propelled Howitzer
PHILIPPINE ARMY: The Atmos artillery system is available with 155mm 39, 45 and 52 calibre barrels. The development and test phase of the program has been successfully completed and the system has entered full-scale production. As an option, the Atmos 2000 155mm 45 calibres can also be equipped with a Russian 130mm M-46 gun.
The Atmos artillery system weighs 22,000kg. The system is transportable in a C-130 Hercules medium transport aircraft and does not require heavy equipment transporters in order to be relocated over long distances.
NUMBER 8: Embraer EMB 314 Super Tucano
PHILIPPINE AIR FORCE: A turboprop aircraft designed for light attack, counter insurgency (COIN), close air support, aerial reconnaissance missions in low threat environments, as well as providing pilot training. Embraer EMB 314 Super Tucano or A-29 is one of the aircraft being eyed by the Philippine Government to replace its OV-10 Broncos.
NUMBER 7: 3 ANTI SUBMARINE ATTACK HELICOPTER
PHILIPPINE NAVY: The said ASW choppers will be assigned to the BRP Gregorio Del Pilar and BRP Ramon Alcaraz.NUMBER 6: 12 JAPAN COAST GUARD CUTTER
The ships and the plan being developed is to strengthen the capacity of the Philippine’s maritime police against possible actions by China.
NUMBER 5: 2 LIGHT FIXES WING AIRCRAFT
The aircraft will provide general support for territorial defense, internal peace and security plan, internal security operations and disaster response.NUMBER 4: 8 NEW LASER GUIDED ATTACK HELICOPTERS
PHILIPPINE AIR FORCE: These helicopters will be capable of performing close air support during day and night, and navigate safely during inadvertent instrument meteorological condition. '
NUMBER 3: ISRAEL MISSILE DEFENSE SYSTEM
PHILIPPINE ARMY: SPYDER (Surface-to-air Phython and Derby) is a short to medium range air defense missile system based on the Python-5 short range dual waveband imaging infrared (IIR) air-to-air missile, and the Derby beyond visual range (BVR) active radar air-to-air missiles and are fired from ground-based launchers. The "MR" indicates that the system is a medium range one, and doing so it uses an added booster system on the missiles as well as a longer-ranged radar. It has an intercept range of around 50km at an altitude of over 16km
NUMBER 2: 12 F/A 50 KOREAN FIGHTER JET
PHILIPPINE AIR FORCE: The FA-50 is a multi-role light fighter developed by KAI and Lockheed Martin. It is based on the on the T-50 supersonic advanced trainer and will replace the South Korean air force's F-5E/Fs and A-37s. It has a maximum speed of 1,100 miles per hour at 10,000 feet. Weaponry includes air-to-air/air-to-surface missiles and machine guns as well as precision-guided bombs.Future: KOREAN FRIGATES
