The Philippine Air Force Added More Cargo Transport Capability

The Philippine Air Force acquire light, medium and heavy Transport Aircraft.

These are:

• Two 2 light lift fixFed wing aircraft
• PT Dirgantara  would supply two (2) Light Lift  NC 212i Aircraft
• The Acquisition is  worth Php 814 million
• Three (3) medium lift aircraft
• Spanish Aerospace manufacturer EADS/CASA would supply  three (3) Airbus  C-295  Military 
• The medium lift acquistion costs amounted to P5.29 billion
• Additional unspecified number of  New and Refurbished C-130 Hercules Heavy transport aircraft
