JMSDF Akizuki Class destroyers Details

The Akizuki Class destroyers also known as 19DD  are being built by the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries for the Japanese Maritime Self-Defence Force (JMSDF). Akizuki is powered by combined gas turbine and gas turbine (COGAG) propulsion system.

• Displacement: 5000 tons, standard  and  6800 tons (full load)
• Speed: 30 knots maximum
